The Hall County Board of Commissioners has scheduled its retreat for the mornings of March 26 and 27, although those dates could change.The retreat will be held in the second-floor meeting room at the Hall County Government Center, which is in the old Liberty Mutual Building at 2875 Browns Bridge Road, Gainesville. Grant application process opens The city of Gainesville has scheduled a public meeting at 9 a.m. on Friday to discuss the application process of its Community Development Block Grant program.Private nonprofit organizations and governmental agencies that provide services to low- and moderate-income residents are eligible.Those attending can pick up an application packet and ask questions about the process. Attendees should go to the human resources training room on the first floor of city’s building at 311 Henry Ward Way.
