Gainesville City Council will vote today on a proposed drive-thru restaurant at the intersection of Thompson Bridge Road and Virginia Circle. The proposed rezoning was previously denied, but changes to the development mean an entrance/exit onto Virginia Circle is no longer planned. Council will also hear a presentation about how students from the University of North Georgia built an online, interactive map to market downtown business space.
