After a nearly three-month closure due to heavy rains, a portion of Talmo Road in East Hall County has reopened.
A metal culvert beneath the road failed Aug. 8, requiring a new box culvert to be installed.
Simpson Trucking and Grading completed the work, including installing the 80-foot-long culvert and repaving about 200 feet of roadway, according to a news release from Hall County.
The project started with delays as the county worked to get access to easements on private property.
The road reopened Friday.
