Suspects take cigarettes, calling cards

Hall County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for two people who reportedly broke into a Gillsville Highway convenience store to steal cigarettes and calling cards, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.

Police have security camera footage of the incident, which happened at 2808 Gillsville Highway. The footage shows two people entering the store. One suspect is wearing a mask and the other appears to be a black male, according to police.

Police say the suspects broke the front door of the convenience store and stole an undetermined amount of cigarettes and calling cards before leaving in what appears to be a black Toyota 4Runner.

No arrests have been made. The incident remains under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Division of the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.
