On Wednesday, four suspected gang members were arrested after deputies responded to a burglary in South Hall.
Strickland said the call came in about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at an Amber Dawn Way home off Roy Parks Road, where someone stole two flat screen televisions and a laptop computer valued at more than $3,500.
A few minutes later, another burglary was reported at a nearby home in the 7100 block of Cedar Hill Drive. Electronics, jewelry and a flat screen television were reported stolen.
Deputies found two suspects walking on Amber Dawn Way. After a radio lookout was issued, Gainesville police found a suspect’s car and two more suspects on E.E. Butler Parkway near Atlanta Street, Strickland said.
All of the stolen items except for a laptop were recovered in the car, he said.
Samuel Rodriguez, 17, Maria Perez, 18, Tiffany Martinez, 18, and a 16-year-old male whose name was not released because of his status as a juvenile were all charged with burglary, Strickland said.
The teens were identified by Gainesville-Hall County Gang Task Force as members of the LaOnda 05 street gang.
