A Gainesville man is being sought in a Monday afternoon shooting of an occupied vehicle off Cleveland Highway in North Hall County.

No one was injured in the incident, which took place about 1:30 p.m. in the 3400 block of Cleveland Highway, said Deputy Nicole Bailes, Hall County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman.

Authorities are looking for Danny Ray Clore, 27, for questioning, she said.

“Investigators are still working to identify all parties that were present at the time of the shooting,” Bailes said.

Deputies responded to the scene after receiving a call of someone firing rounds from an automatic weapon in the area, Bailes said.

“We have conflicting statements as to the type of vehicle Clore fled the scene in,” she said.
