A downed tree blocked one lane surrounding the mobile home park off of Casper Drive in Gainesville following some heavy winds Friday, March 1.

Hall County’s interim director of emergency management Casey Ramsey said straight line winds in the area between Cleveland Highway and Clarks Bridge Road caused some downed trees and power lines.

Ramsey considered it an isolated incident.

Families in the mobile home park inspected the tree blocking part of Casper Drive. A number of trampolines were flipped over.
