Sheriff's Office seeks man who robbed Buford McDonald's at gunpoint

Hall County Sheriff’s Office officials are seeking the man who robbed a McDonald’s in Buford at gunpoint in the early morning hours Saturday.

The suspect is described as a muscular black man about 6 feet, 1 inch tall and weighing 220 to 250 pounds. He wore a black bandana partially concealing his face.

He entered the restaurant at 4810 Golden Parkway around 4:30 a.m., pointed a silver handgun at an employee and demanded money. He took the employee into the office area with the gun pointed at his back.

The suspect then left the store with several deposit bags containing about $2,500 in cash. He left in a gray four-door car that may have included other people.

The suspect is considered armed and dangerous. No one was hurt during the incident.
