Schools wrap up week before holiday with special meals, community outreach

If you notice traffic is a little bit lighter today, that’s because school is now out of session this week for the Thanksgiving holiday. If you noticed traffic was slightly heavier last week, that’s probably because many of the schools were holding various Thanksgiving events, inviting family and friends in to share in the holiday spirit. “This time of year provides our students numerous opportunities to demonstrate their thankfulness in tangible ways,” said Hall County Schools Superintendent Will Schofield.
