The Georgia Association for Gifted Children has honored Will Schofield, superintendent of the Hall County school system, with its annual leadership award.
The presentation took place Monday at an association convention attended by some 800 Georgia educators in Atlanta.
"I am proud that Hall County is consistently recognized as a district that values all learners, including our most able," Schofield said this morning.
"Any honor we receive belongs to the teachers and students that are working so hard to prepare our boys and girls for the future that awaits them."
