Overnight snow in the North Georgia mountains created some road hazards and led to school schedule changes. Lumpkin County schools are closed today due to the snowy roads; 12-month employees should report at 10 a.m. Schools in Dawson and Towns counties also are closed. White County schools are under a two-hour delay.
