A rabies alert has been issued for the Bills Circle area of North Hall after a rabid raccoon came in contact with a dog. The raccoon was shipped to the Georgia Public Health Lab, Virology Section in Decatur, and Hall County Animal Control was advised Thursday that the animal was confirmed positive for rabies. This is the fourth confirmed case of 2013.
