Choices Pregnancy Care Center will host its annual fundraising gala March 23, featuring anti-abortion advocate Marc Newman.

Newman is president of Speaker for Life, a public speaking training firm for anti-abortion advocates.

The event will begin at 6:45 p.m. Thursday at The Venue at Friendship Springs, 7340 Friendship Springs Blvd., Flowery Branch.

Reservations for the event are required by March 20, and attendees must be 18 or older.

The care center provides tests for pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases, education about abstinence and options for pregnant clients, support for single mothers, parents of pregnant teens and those recovering from abortions.
