Police are seeking information on two masked men who robbed a Gainesville convenience store at gunpoint late Wednesday night.

Shortly before 11 p.m., the men entered Wee Willy’s on Industrial Boulevard wearing black ski masks and armed with handguns, Gainesville Police said in a news release.

“One of the suspects actually jumped over the counter and took money from the cash register,” said officer Kevin Holbrook.

Holbrook said an undetermed amount of money was stolen in the robbery. Two store employees and a customer were inside the store but nobody was injured, he added.

The suspects fled the business on foot, traveling toward Industrial Boulevard.

Both suspects were described as 5 foot 8 inches to 5 foot 10 inches tall and weighing 130-150 pounds, police said. One man was wearing a black, long sleeve shirt with dark pants and the other wore a white, long-sleeve shirt with dark pants.
