Robert Malcolm Thompson has been arrested in connection with a Friday robbery at a Captain D’s restaurant in Gainesville, police said. According to a Gainesville Police Department news release, Thompson was apprehended with the assistance of the Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad. Agents with the Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad arrested Thompson on Wednesday, said police department spokesman Cpl. Kevin Holbrook.
