Two armed men approached a Family Dollar employee Tuesday, Sept. 25 and left with cash, police said.
Gainesville police are investigating the robbery that happened at the Atlanta Highway store around 10:25 p.m. Tuesday.
“While the manager was closing and locking the doors, they approached,” Sgt. Kevin Holbrook said.
Holbrook said it is believed both were armed with handguns and ran away with an “undisclosed amount of cash.”
No one was injured in the robbery.
The manager of the store was not available Wednesday when The Times called for comment.
