Gainesville’s Interactive Neighborhood for Kids at 999 Chestnut St., marked its 15th birthday celebration on Saturday.

The hands-on museum began in 2002 as a scaled-down neighborhood where kids can play and interact.

Gainesville City Councilman George Wangemann offered a proclamation from the mayor of Gainesville commemorating INK’s anniversary.

Also on hand to celebrate was Georgia first lady Sandra Deal.
