Hall County Fire Services plans to begin Monday investigating a fire Saturday at Dixieland Equipment Sales/Dixieland Pallet Co. in East Hall. The probe will involve determining a cause and origin of the blaze, which was called in at 4:43 p.m. However, “nothing appears suspicious at this time,” said Scott Cagle, fire marshal and battalion chief. Three buildings at the business at 3887 Athens Highway, near the Hall-Jackson County Line, were involved in the fire, Cagle said.
