Oakwood Mayor Lamar Scroggs is recovering at Northeast Georgia Medical Center after suffering a drop in blood pressure Sunday. Scroggs was taken to the hospital from church and admitted to the intensive care unit, City Manager Stan Brown said. He “was in surgery (Sunday) evening and is recovering well,” Brown said.
