Hall County firefighters were able to contain a blaze at an Oakwood home this afternoon.
Five adults and two children were displaced by the blaze.
"Red Cross is assisting them with shelter and clothing, etc.," Hall Fire Chief David Kimbrell said. "The preliminary cause we believe is possibly children playing with fire, but investigators are still on the scene."
Kimbrell said fire crews responded to a call at a home on the 3300 block of Apache Circle at about 12:30 p.m. About 50 percent of the 1,800-square-foot home was involved in the fire. Kimbrell estimates the damage will cost around $80,000.
