Two people from Oakwood are accused of robbing a man, with one of them later forcing the victim to drive at gunpoint, according to authorities.

Jennifer Luna-Flores, 19, and Damon Jackson, 21, were charged with armed robbery by Oakwood Police.

Oakwood Police said Luna-Flores “lured” a man Wednesday to an Oakwood Hills Drive residence via text messages.

“After the victim arrived at the location on Oakwood Hills Drive, Damon Jackson approached, produced a handgun and demanded cash from the victim,” Sgt. Todd Templeton wrote in a news release.

Jackson then forced the victim to drive to Gainesville at gunpoint, Templeton said. Two Gainesville Police officers’ vehicles were parked in a Browns Bridge Road parking lot, and the victim pulled near them to get help.

Jackson was additionally charged with aggravated assault, kidnapping, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and pimping.

“Investigators have reason to believe there are other victims who have been robbed by the couple in a similar manner,” Templeton said.
