Oakwood’s 2010 budget is poised for its final OK by City Council.
No one showed Monday night for a public hearing on the budget, which is balanced in income and spending at $3.285 million.
The council now is set to adopt the budget at its monthly meeting Monday at City Hall.
To help fund the budget, the council voted last month to set the tax rate at 2.48 mills, with 1 mill equal to $1 for each $1,000 in assessed property value.
Tax bills will be mailed Dec. 1 and are due Feb. 1. The 2010 budget becomes effective Jan. 1.
