The North Georgia Community Foundation is accepting applications through May 31 for grant funding available to nonprofits and ministries in its 15-county region, including Hall County, where the organization is based.
The foundation awarded more than $66,000 to 27 organizations in 2018 through its Community Impact Fund, up from about $47,000 distributed to 16 organizations in 2017.
The foundation provides office and conference room space for a variety of local nonprofits while supporting others through its fundraising and educational programs.
It was founded in 1985 and serves Hall, Banks, Dawson, Fannin, Forsyth, Franklin, Habersham, Hart, Jackson, Lumpkin, Rabun, Stephens, Towns, Union and White counties.
Applicants must be a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
