Overnight resurfacing of Old Winder Highway/Ga. 211 in South Hall and Braselton is set to begin Monday, April 2.
The $1.7 million project will call for lane closures, with the work done daily starting at 8 p.m. and ending the next morning at 6 a.m., according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.
The 5.3-mile project will run from south of Winder Highway/Ga. 53 in South Hall to north of the Interstate 85 bridge in Barrow County.
“This work will be completed weather permitting,” a DOT press release stated. “Motorists are reminded to pay attention while driving through work zones at nighttime.”
The completion date is Aug. 31.
The contractor is C.W. Matthews Contracting Co.
