Oct. 18: “Leadership in Uncertain Times” by Ruben Boling, director of the Center for the Future of North Georgia, and Wendy Walker, assistant business professor
Oct. 25: “Preparing Teachers for 21st Century Students” by Barbara Dixon, coordinator for post-baccalaureate education studies
Nov. 1: “Childhood Obesity” by Elaine Taylor, associate nursing professor

North Georgia College & State University continues a lecture series tonight with a look at creativity and art.

Assistant professor of art education Chris Dockery will present “Mobilizing Creativity: Artmaking, Community and an Airstream Trailer.”

The free lecture is presented 6:30-8:30 p.m. today at the Gainesville Civic Center. The lecture also is presented Wednesdays at the Hampton Park Library in Cumming and Thursdays at the university in Dahlonega. The series will cover a variety of topics as it continues through Nov. 1.
