Northeast Georgia Physicians Group has named Daniel Tuffy its president and chief administrative officer.

Tuffy most recently served as vice president of operations for CaroMont Health in Gastonia, N.C. It was a system with more than 600,000 annual patient visits, 40 practice locations and 250 providers.

Tuffy holds a Master of Business Administration from Webster University in St. Louis and a bachelor’s degree in health services administration from the University of Central Florida.

He and his wife, Bethany, have two children.
