A new traffic signal at Ga. 124 and Ga. 332 in Jackson County is set to begin operating Thursday, if testing goes well. The signal will go into flash mode today. "Please slow down through the area while crews work. Once the signal is operational, please use extra caution until you get familiar with the new signal location," said Todd McDuffie, district engineer with the Georgia Department of Transportation. "Remember to watch out for other drivers until they get used to the new signal too."
