New Wendy’s

Location: 7348 Spout Springs Road, Braselton

Opening day: Monday

A new Wendy’s is coming to Braselton as part of the company’s “brand transformation.”

The restaurant opens for the first time Monday at 7348 Spout Springs Road and is Wendy’s of Georgia’s third Image Activation location.

According to a news release from Meritage Hospitality Group, the Image Activation restaurant will “feature bold, sleek, ultra-modern designs that enhance the guest experience.”

Among the amenities are Coke Freestyle machines, flat-screen TVs, Wi-Fi, lounge seating with a fireplace and digital menu boards.

Wendy’s announced in August 2014 its plans to “revitalize the quick service brand and urged the franchise community to join them in their efforts. The brand revitalization includes a new logo, product innovation, fresh packaging, crew uniforms and revived advertising.”

In addition to the design changes, Wendy’s rolled out a new line of summer beverages, such as HonestTea Tropical Green Tea and FruitTea Chillers. It also has brought back the Baconator burger for the summer, as well as Baconator fries.

“The Wendy’s brand transformation is re-energizing all of our touch points with consumers,” said Emily Brolick, president and CEO of the Wendy’s Company, in a news release. “We’re transforming our brand — from bold restaurant designs to innovative food that customers want, to improved customer service.”

According to its website, Wendy’s has three locations in Gainesville, as well as one each in Flowery Branch, Buford, Dawsonville and Jefferson.

The new location will be the second Wendy’s in Braselton, with the other at 5950 Highway 53.
