Mobile home fire considered suspicious

Hall County Fire Services is investigating a fire that destroyed a mobile home early Friday.

The department received the call about 4:15 a.m. When firefighters arrived at 3636 Leeland Road, they found the mobile home consumed by fire, said fire marshal Scott Cagle.

“A family of six was in the process of moving out, so it was vacant at the time of the fire,” he said, adding that power had been cut off to the home since Friday.

The fire department is treating the fire as suspicious because the home was vacant and without power.

“However, there are still plenty of explanations (as to) how the fire could have started,” he said.

Also, “no owner information or value is known at this time,” Cagle said.
