Riverside Military Academy, established in 1907, is an all-boys college preparatory school. Riverside, serving young men in seventh through 12th grades, has a distinctive military structure, academic and athletic programs.
Mund, 23, is an Ivy League honors graduate from Brown University headed to law school.
At 14 years old, Mund founded North Dakota’s annual Make-A-Wish Fashion Show. For 10 years she has impacted 23 Wish Kids’ lives and became a “Certified Wish Granter,” raising more than $78,500 for Make-A-Wish.
Mund’s work as an intern in the United States Senate in 2016 and her passion for helping others inspired her desire to become the first Miss America from North Dakota. She was crowned during the annual competition in Atlantic City, N.J., on Sept. 10.
In 2011, former President Barack Obama recognized Mund’s charitable efforts. Mund is also a national dance champion and trained four summers with the Radio City Rockettes.
