Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville has been ranked as the No. 8 hospital in Georgia, according to a U.S. News & World Report study of hospitals nationwide. The hospital was declared “high performing” in cardiology and heart surgery, diabetes and endocrinology, gastroenterology and gastrointestinal surgery, geriatrics and pulmonology, states the report, which was issued today.
