A Gainesville man is in custody after a burglary late Thursday at West Hall Middle School on McEver Road. Hall County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a burglary alarm at the school just after 10 p.m. Thursday and found a door forced open and someone attempting to remove a portable generator. The suspect ran and a K-9 team was called to assist in a search.
