A Gainesville man has been charged in several vehicle break-ins, thefts and a burglary that occurred earlier this week.

Zachary Ryan Brannon, 29, has been charged with burglary, three counts of breaking into an auto and theft by taking, said Col. Jeff Strickland of the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.

Earlier this week, deputies responded to Waverly Way off Stephens Road, where several vehicles had been broken into, Strickland said.

A theft of a four-wheeler and a dirt bike also occurred at Georgia Outdoor Equipment & Garden Center, and a burglary took place at a home on Waverly Trail, he added.

Strickland said that investigators were able to develop leads that identified Brannon as the suspect.

Deputies found Brannon in a home on Dennis Drive off Mountain View Road late Wednesday afternoon.

He was taken into custody without incident.

Investigators also found the four-wheeler at a private residence on Allen Street in Oakwood, Strickland said.
