Clermont Town Councilwoman Lynn Adams has resigned as she and her husband are moving to Florida, Mayor James Nix said. Adams was about 18 months into a four-year term on the council. The council will have a special meeting at 9 a.m. Monday at Town Hall, 109 King St., to consider a special elections ordinance.
