Lula City Council has approved $364,500 in capital improvements for the 2013-2014 fiscal year. The funding from special purpose local option sales taxes will cover street drainage work, downtown landscaping, street resurfacing and sewer line replacement. The council approved about $341,000 at Monday’s meeting, but the numbers changed slightly, City Manager Dennis Bergin said.
