A Lula man was killed Friday morning when he rear-ended a tractor-trailer that was stopped in traffic, officials said.

Alvin Sosebee, 54, was driving north on Ga. 365 about 8:30 a.m. Friday when he failed to slow for stopped traffic at White Sulphur Road, the Georgia State Patrol said. Sosebee’s Ford F-150 pickup truck struck the back of a tractor-trailer and he died at the scene.

There were no other injuries in the wreck.
