Lula City Council has approved an ordinance that lays out how council members will be paid for extra meetings and how much they can expect to be reimbursed. Council salaries already were set at $100 monthly and the mayor’s pay is $400 a month. The ordinance states council members can get paid an additional $100 per meeting outside the city up to three meetings, or $300, and $50 per meeting inside the city up to two meetings, or $100.
