All property needed for the construction of a roundabout has been acquired by Flowery Branch, moving that particular project forward. The Lights Ferry Connector, a 130-foot roundabout, will run between Ga. 13/Atlanta Highway and McEver Road. City Planner John McHenry told City Council members at the Feb. 19 meeting that 18 parcels had been acquired, either partially or in total, to secure land needed for construction.
