Lean Cuisine frozen chicken meals recalled

Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tommy Irvin is alerting consumers to the recall of some Lean Cuisine frozen chicken meals manufactured by Nestlé Prepared Foods Co. of Springville, Utah.

The company is recalling approximately 879,565 pounds of Lean Cuisine meals that may contain foreign objects. The meals recalled include 9.5-ounce packages of Pesto Chicken With Bow Tie Pasta, 10.5-ounce packages of Chicken Mediterranean and 12.5-ounce packages of Chicken Tuscan. Each package bears the USDA mark of inspection as well as the establishment number "EST P-9018."

The company received complaints of foreign objects, identified as small pieces of hard plastic, which resulted in one injury.
