As an educator, David Byers is full of enthusiasm and pride. Byers, who directs the dental hygiene program at Lanier Technical College, beams when he talks about the program and its students, and he’s excited for the students to use the new, state-of-the-art equipment that’s just been installed at the school’s dental lab. “I’ve been wanting to renovate the lab since I came back to the school in 2000,” he said.
