Work is continuing on the replacement of the Longstreet Bridge that carries U.S. 129 over the Chattahoochee River, and construction will close one lane of traffic through 3 p.m. Thursday.
Flagging operators will direct traffic during the closure.
There are no lane closures scheduled for this project next week.
The $34 million bridge replacement is about 42 percent complete, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation. The project was awarded to E.R. Snell Contractor in May 2017 and is set to be finished in September 2020.
