Dawsonville Highway/Ga. 53 at Boling Bridge.

Dawsonville Highway/Ga. 53 at Boling Bridge will be partially closed to motorists between 7 p.m. Wednesday and 6 a.m. Thursday as work continues on the bridge replacement project.

Georgia Department of Transportation contractors will pour the second concrete support for the new bridge.

“Drivers headed west toward Dawsonville will have a right-hand lane closure with flagging operators directing them,” a DOT news release states.

The $20 million project at the Forsyth County line, slated for a March 31, 2019, completion, calls for replacing the bridge over the Chestatee River, which flows into Lake Lanier.
