King’s Hawaiian filed a lawsuit Wednesday against the grocery corporation Aldi claiming the business is using “confusingly similar” packaging for its sweet rolls. With its principal place of operation in Oakwood, King’s Hawaiian entered the complaint in U.S. District Court in Gainesville. “Defendant is selling in the United States sweet rolls that intentionally and willfully employ product packaging that is confusingly similar to the distinctive packaging trade dress that King’s Hawaiian uses ...” the complaint reads.
