The Hall County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in identifying a vehicle that may lead to clues in the slaying of a Gainesville teenager.Hall County Sheriff’s Investigators and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation are looking for a four-door passenger car from the late 1990s to early 2000s, possibly a Chevrolet or Dodge. The car is light silver in color, with substantial front-end damage and a driver’s door that is either white or a lighter shade of silver.They believe the car may have been in the area of Lake Lanier Club Apartments in the evening of Aug. 23, when they believe Hannah Truelove was killed.Truelove, 16, a Gainesville High student, was found dead the following night in a wooded area behind the apartments near the shore of Lake Lanier.Investigators believe the occupants of the vehicle may have important information that will aid the investigation.The sheriff’s office is releasing few other details in the case but Sgt. Stephen Wilbanks said there’s still a lot of information coming in. “Some cases we’re not that fortunate,” he said.
