A firefighter injured when a truck’s ladder fell 44 feet on July 22 has been transferred to the Shepherd Center. Will Griffin, a Hall County firefighter injured during a training exercise with Stephen Jackson and TJ Elliott, was originally taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center by ambulance after the incident. On Friday, Griffin was discharged from the medical center and taken to the Atlanta-based Shepherd Center spinal cord injury unit.
