Indianapolis Colts player attacked with knife, baseball bat in Braselton

An Indianapolis Colts linebacker was allegedly attacked by the mother of his children after returning to his home March 14, authorities said. Erik Lashawn Walden and Gloria Smith picked up dinner before returning to his residence in the 2000 block of Yellowwood Court in Buford, according to a Braselton police report. Erika Tonezze Palmer, 27, the mother of Walden’s children, has been charged with multiple counts of aggravated assault and burglary.
