After spending 15 years in the fitness industry, Marcell Allen of Gainesville decided he wanted to build his dream gym. Instead of only offering a place for people to better their health, he aspired to create a “home away from home” with the opening of Brickhouse Barbell on March 23 at 1025 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in Gainesville.
