The Gainesville and Hall County Development Authority on Monday will consider renewing an agreement for the Glades Reservoir project with Hall County and Glade Farm LLC. The Hall County Board of Commissioners will vote Thursday on whether to extend the agreement. Development Authority Chairman Philip Wilheit said extending the lease management agreement an additional year will help expedite the project. The agreement, amended with a letter of intent in 2010, entails reimbursing Glade Farm up to $3.5 million for costs associated with acquiring a federal permit to proceed with reservoir development.
