A Hall County man was convicted Friday in Superior Court for firing four times at another man at City Park.
Darrius Sullivan, 18, was convicted by a jury on the charges of aggravated assault with the intent to rob, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated battery and possession of a firearm in the commission of a crime.
Sullivan was accused of shooting a semiautomatic pistol four times at Derick Young, 17, on May 17 at City Park. Young suffered a gunshot wound to the leg, said Northeastern Judicial Circuit District Attorney Lee Darragh.
Attempts to reach Sullivan’s public defender were unsuccessful.
Sentencing will be held at a later date, Darragh said.
