Hall County firefighters are investigating a blaze in the 6200 block of Grant Ford Road in northwest Hall.

They responded at 5:18 p.m. when a neighbor called saying he could see the fire behind his home on Grant Ford, Chief David Kimbrell said.

Upon arrival, firefighters found a 980-square-foot mobile home consumed by fire "and falling in," Kimbrell said.

Also, the homeowner was outside the home. No one else was injured.

"Fire had spread to the woods and a (600-square-foot) outbuilding," Kimbrell said.
